Best Practice Approach for Operational Reporting with Rootstock

ABSTRACT

Most people readily acknowledge that reports are as essential to business as the data they summarize, but many users are overwhelmed by the prospect of finding or creating the reports they need to answer the business questions of the moment. Poorly written titles, missing descriptions, too many folders, not enough folders… these all make it challenging to get to the insights you need to effectively manage your business.

This session will not automagically fix your reporting woes, but we will provide you with some insight to help. We’ll highlight some of the most popular OOTB Rootstock reports, and we will also give you some pointers about custom report types and the right Rootstock objects to reference for different reporting scenarios. We won’t get too technical, but we’ll also provide you with an overview of the power and capability of Enterprise Insights to go beyond average reporting.

In this session, hear from Mitch Cahn, President/Founder of UnionWear, explain how Rootstock users can now use generative AI to combine their raw materials, processes, and patterns to create unlimited SKUs with photorealistic images and fully developed product pages and costings. These SKUs can be sold using any ecommerce platform, eliminating custom order processing, configured price quotes, and even the sales process. Activity can be analyzed in real time to crowdsource product development by reacting to user tastes, target demographics, and automatically adjust product lines based on changes in demand.
